At TOYSWAPP (accessible via our mobile application), your privacy is our top priority. This Privacy Policy document outlines the types of information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding account deletion.
1. Information We Collect
To provide a functional community marketplace for toys and children's clothing, we collect:
Personal Identification: Name, phone number, and email address (collected during registration).
Location Data: Precise GPS coordinates (latitude and longitude). We use this to show you items available nearby and to calculate distances between buyers and sellers.
Media Assets: Images you intentionally upload for your toy/clothing listings.
Device Information: Basic info like model and OS version to improve app performance.
2. How We Use & Share Your Data
Public Listings: When you post an item, your name and the item's approximate location are visible to all users.
Facilitating Trades: Your phone number is shared with potential buyers who wish to contact you regarding a listing.
No Third-Party Selling: We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal data to third-party advertisers or data brokers.
Payment Processing: Financial transactions (recharges) are handled exclusively by Razorpay. TOYSWAPP does not store your credit card or UPI details.
3. Data Safety & Permissions
The app requests specific permissions to function:
Location: Required to sort items by proximity.
Camera/Gallery: Required to take or upload photos of toys.
Notifications: Used to alert you about buyer interest or wallet updates.
4. Account Deletion Policy
We respect your right to leave the platform. Users can request account deletion directly within the App settings.
15-Day Processing Period: Once you click the "Delete Account" button, your account is immediately deactivated and hidden from other users. However, it takes 15 days for our system to permanently purge your data from our database.
Recovery: You may cancel the deletion request within this 15-day window by contacting support.
Data Forfeiture: All remaining wallet credits and listing history are permanently forfeited once the 15-day period expires.
5. Community Safety & Reporting (User Conduct)
To maintain a safe environment for all users, TOYSWAPP enforces a strict "Three-Strike" policy:
Reporting System: Users can report any listing or seller that violates our community guidelines (e.g., scams, inappropriate images, or offensive behavior).
Automated Restriction: If a user is reported 3 times and the reports are verified, the account will be automatically marked as Inactive by our backend.
Login Suspension: Once an account is marked inactive due to multiple reports, the user will be permanently restricted from logging back into the app.
App Review: We manually review reported content to ensure fairness and prevent false reporting.
6. Children's Privacy
While TOYSWAPP is a platform for children's items, the app is intended for use by parents and guardians. We do not knowingly collect data from children under the age of 13.
